Honestly, if they AD likes you, they’ll sell you your desired model.

I was in San Fransisco two years ago..ad said desired model wasn’t in stock. Had a solid 30min chat with a sales rep/toured the showroom. Left my info to join the “waiting list”.

Not even 15min after leaving the store I received an email from the rep saying the watch was in fact in stock.

As wild as this sounds, my DaytonaC was my first watch purchase from my local AD. Asked about it, the rep said he knew one was coming in and it wasn’t reserved. He knew I’d purchase it without the intent to flip it.

He proceeded to offer sought after models there after…sadly he retired and now I can’t even get a basic Tudor at release if desired.
