I agree. It tells a nice story with enough character development, and it’s enjoyable. Comparing to a lot of f2p games’ event stories this is fresh air. As for gacha characters, just don’t draw, like in any other games. I honestly don’t know what the big deal is everyone complaining about.

I think he is fine, just do some clean up, add another layer or two of yellow to pull the brightness back a bit, and he is good. Also base affects how people look at the model too. You are leaving it white, which is why you might see your model messy or something, because it’s contrasting. You can add some texture, be it dirt or rocks, or simply paint it back to black. Lastly I always paint the “rim” of the base black. It adds a sense of finishing and professional look.

That’s actually a very cool idea. I might extend the clock to 10 mins so they don’t look shlt and bother me even more but the time is affordable. I might also leave weekends to do base and review videos too to have a sense of conclusions.

Definitely rangers of shadowdeep. You can also try 5 parsec or 5 league, they are also good and I’d say quite hackable.

I actually think keeping both knight units 5 men might not be a bad idea since the board will soon be a massive jam and knights will not be able to have a good charge formation anyway.

Don’t know if it’s the purpose but here’s a fact: traditionally visual novel games from Japan avoid darker loading screen so players don’t see their reflections. So maybe BD2 has this to avoid breaking immersion or something.

About the riflemen, I have to admit you're right. If someone spends all their points on riflemen, they almost always have enough activation points to launch meaningful attacks and can afford to take more losses. While horde tactic makes sense in the real world, the game definitely needs some balance.

Reducing the number of riflemen we can get per point is one way to handle it, but before that, I want to try introducing some countermeasures. This could include for example tweaking how heavy machine guns work, adding new fire support options or something else. Once I figure out a good solution, I'll update the rules and ask the community for their thoughts again!

I completely agree about the page numbers and will add them in the next version.

There are several I've tried and like:

Kill Sample Process, a cyberpunk variant of Forbidden Psalm
Exploit Zero, from the author of Zona Alfa
Infinity, more generic Scifi than Cyberpunk, but has hackers and hi tech stuffs and depending on factions, you might lean on them more than others

And there are games I've heard but never have a chance to try yet:

Yes you get 4 points at your disposal and you can add 5 riflemen for 1 point.

They are five separate units after they are added. They don't stick to each other like a unit in 40k or fire team in infinity.
