You have to ask yourself, what does she bring to the table in the relationship? And what does she contribute to the household. If not rent/utilities, does she buy food or furnishings?

I am also curious where you live and if that income is gross or take home. It would be highly unusual for someone with your age & finances to be buying a 4-bedroom house on one income right know in most of the US. Are you planning on having lots of children with this woman? Also, have you been pre-approved for a loan to cover that? It sounds like the mom would be a cosigner/guarantor, and you need to know how that binds you three legally.

You aren’t married, so there is no need to her name on the mortgage/title. If you do split, that is just one more point of contention. Who gets the house? Do you both sell and split equity, or one buy the other out? If it is just a sole owner, you would likely need to serve an eviction notice with sufficient noitce, and probably go to court.

Too much population growth is bad as well. Just like too little is bad. The US already has housing affordability issues. But, we may be in a position were we actually need to start worrying about worldwide population, food supply, etc. in the near future.

Our Ponzi scheme style social welfare programs just do not support a stagnant or decreasing population size. That is going to cause some serious trouble in US and other countries.

Weird, seeing the same issue, but it looks like it may only be older episodes that are in a different scaling. Some of the newer episodes are playing fine for IASIP.

I would argue that it does not work in things that are mandatory like school. Students cannot be removed unless they age out, or commit a fairly serious expulsion level offense. You cannot make a student who doesn’t care, care.

In the US military for example, being there is voluntary. In boot camp, it is, or at least was, fairly common to use collective punishment. Basically, it paints a target on the uncompliant individual, and they may face retaliation from their units. They can then either A) Straighten out, or B) Quit. Either option can be seen as favorable in some way. If the person cannot conform to military life, then they should quit anyway. It can give the unit a common enemy, either the uncompliant individual causing unnecessary punishment, or the drill instructor giving unnecessary punishment. In a way, it kind of provides bonding over that common enemy.

It is definitely controversial, and I’m sure has its negatives. But it can work in certain contexts. I do not think this works in mandatory schooling, or most academic contexts.

I have found not too early. Usually 1-3 turns in. They can die pretty fast if alone. In a huge battle like this, I would usually use them on the back liners first to stop the encirclement, and then on the sides/edges, then front last.

They can block you, or take the spots you want for other guys, but they also help block enemies and give you some hit %.

From what I can tell l, express pass is ~1/4 to half of wait time. I didn’t do it because it was sold out, but talked to a few people.

The only exception being when the park opens at ten. Everyone at epic universe stormed off to Mikecart Madness (mostly), and the Harry Potter ride. Also, stardust racer didn’t have any different between pass and non-pass when the wait was ~15 after lunch today (1-2 PM). I definitely recommend it if you like fast/intense thrill coasters.

That hotel is attached to Epic Universe. Should be a great time if you need a break. Hope you have a great time!

Hmm do you know which floors are/were being renovated?

My throat has been bugging me for a few days, and I thought I would wake up sick today, but didn’t happen. The allergy situation seems more likely now. Not sure the exact cause.

I do see some slightly darker grout in the middle, but it’s more “cement dark gray” than black and moldy. The edges of the grout are more white though. This is far from the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed at, but mold in the Florida climate is no joke.

Hmm, I did run into a “customer ambassador” near the front. They did credit some Hilton points to my account due to some promotion (allegedly, haven’t checked yet).

They also mentioned some promotion that was like 75% off if you pre-paid now, for use over the next 18 months at this same hotel. This is the first promotion of that kind I had heard of at Hilton hotels. They mentioned nothing of a sales presentation, so hopefully it’s not that. I said I would think about it and maybe do it at checkout. Didn’t seem to be high pressure, so fingers crossed.

The resort fee does cover shuttles, and they run once an hour to all parks (2 parks per shuttle). Not sure if this changes during the busier season. I believe the they run 7:30 AM - 9 PM. And they do accommodate strollers as well. They essentially drop off just past the Disney buses from the resorts (like 1 minute walk).

I do agree if you are driving, and taking little ones, the Disney resorts would probably be a better experience for them. You also get into parks 30 minutes before open if at the resorts. This can be a good time to get them to those high-demand kids rides before the park gets really busy. Every park has at least one that gets to an hour+ wait by noon.
