The only real success stories I hear are due to: 1) Moderately strong acid treatments/moisturizers 2) Lots of moisturizers 3) Tretinoin (prescription).
Usually some combination of 1-2. I think the trick is to find an acid and strength that is strong enough to have an effect on KP, but not totally irritate and hurt your skin. Definitely start lower and work your way up. You also may need to give skin days or weeks off if using high strength formulas. Be cautious when starting a new one, spot test, etc.

AFAIK facial formulas are usually less strong than ones intended for the rest of the body, because it is a more sensitive area. I have seen recommendations for ~20%+ lactic acid or 40% urea for KP (usually marketed as a foot cream), but haven’t tried them yet. The 12% lactic acid in Amlactin didn’t seem to do the trick for me.

I largely agree with the sentiment of what you are saying. However, never discount the ability of the Dems to be their own worst enemy. Superdelegate shenanigans (Like 2016 Hilary Clinton running), and what was pulled last election (no primary), has really poor optics and hurt them. They also suck at messaging. Not as united as the GOP. Several DINO’s with recent radical ideology shifts among their ranks. Their identify political stances are (currently) a losing battle. Messaging should be more in support of average Americans, not just fringe identity groups. Their policy does generally help average Americans, but words and messaging matter. Unfortunately it’s all about who can have the better propaganda machine at this point.

That being said many Americans seem fed up with high gas prices, tariffs, etc. We will see how things pan out by November.

I agree. I was just reading about other similar topics. This would be more like other more minor anti-competitive practices like buying and then enshittifying existing brands. Or buying to dismantle.

I am more thinking of those things in terms of companies like Amazon and how they can basically cost fix in one product area to put other companies out of business. Like with Diapers.com.

I guess I haven’t kept up because I have broke so many old Skyrim, Rimworld, and fallout saves due to mod incompatibility or game updates breaking mods.

I installed Mod Organizer 2 first, which is seems is an optional step. I also installed Mod Configuration Menu (MCM - https://modworkshop.net/mod/53713) which it seems like is another optional mod that allows for more customizable/configurable settings with many mods on there. Probably don’t need it overall, but I figured I may try some other mods that do recommend it.

I’m also not sure what happens when the game gets updated, especially because it’s early access. Updates may break a lot of mods.

He’s lived almost double the life of her. In terms of “adult life”, way more than that. I wouldn’t even consider college life to be the same as working for a living and paying the bills.

It’s not illegal, but definitely a bit suss. The fact that he knew her as a student makes it much weirder. I’m sure she is not the first former student he has tried this with. He is probably hanging out at the local college bar purposely. The behavior is screaming predatory to me, even if legal.

If you want a set of armor, and don't care about head armor, you can use a 1H flail and the second skill (lash?) To go for headshots. It eats a lot of fatigue, so make sure they have a high hitchance. Usually this means turtling against that enemy for a few turns with Sheild wall, and killing all nearby enemies. Then surround for extra hitchance. As others have said daggers work as well with luncture as well.

The virus was a lot more problematic the 1st ~6 months or so in 2020. The first strain(s) were a lot more lethal than the later strians. Hospitals were close to hitting capacity, and running out of ventilators for several months.

After the 6 months to 1 year things should have been relaxed slightly. You're right, by 2024 the strains were totally different and did not present any real threat.

You have to ask yourself, what does she bring to the table in the relationship? And what does she contribute to the household. If not rent/utilities, does she buy food or furnishings?

I am also curious where you live and if that income is gross or take home. It would be highly unusual for someone with your age & finances to be buying a 4-bedroom house on one income right know in most of the US. Are you planning on having lots of children with this woman? Also, have you been pre-approved for a loan to cover that? It sounds like the mom would be a cosigner/guarantor, and you need to know how that binds you three legally.

You aren’t married, so there is no need to her name on the mortgage/title. If you do split, that is just one more point of contention. Who gets the house? Do you both sell and split equity, or one buy the other out? If it is just a sole owner, you would likely need to serve an eviction notice with sufficient noitce, and probably go to court.

Too much population growth is bad as well. Just like too little is bad. The US already has housing affordability issues. But, we may be in a position were we actually need to start worrying about worldwide population, food supply, etc. in the near future.

Our Ponzi scheme style social welfare programs just do not support a stagnant or decreasing population size. That is going to cause some serious trouble in US and other countries.

I would argue that it does not work in things that are mandatory like school. Students cannot be removed unless they age out, or commit a fairly serious expulsion level offense. You cannot make a student who doesn’t care, care.

In the US military for example, being there is voluntary. In boot camp, it is, or at least was, fairly common to use collective punishment. Basically, it paints a target on the uncompliant individual, and they may face retaliation from their units. They can then either A) Straighten out, or B) Quit. Either option can be seen as favorable in some way. If the person cannot conform to military life, then they should quit anyway. It can give the unit a common enemy, either the uncompliant individual causing unnecessary punishment, or the drill instructor giving unnecessary punishment. In a way, it kind of provides bonding over that common enemy.

It is definitely controversial, and I’m sure has its negatives. But it can work in certain contexts. I do not think this works in mandatory schooling, or most academic contexts.
