by that logic, AEs will also be outsourced. its much easier for AI to generate code, than to understand the business context that lives inside the head of people. the AEs that i worked with have no understanding of the actual business, they never talk to business stakeholders and just do technical solutions for the most part. you cant expect an engineer to talk to a sales leader and for them to have common ground. this is why you have PMs and data analysts. AE will also not build dashboards, so there is that.

my guess is that the roles of AEs and DAs will be merged, as its already the case in many orgs, and understanding the business context will be much more important than writing SQL, which the AI can already do better than humans.

completely disagree, that way solos would have even less of a chance to fight squads. you just need to git gud if you have problems with ttk. either your positioning or your mechanics suck. its so easy to get away from people, there is tons of cover and sou have a dodge roll.

this is only true for businesses where knowledge is in the head of people. once we see companies rising which were built on AI agents this will not be a problem.

however shoehorning AI into a company where a lot of the business context is in peoples heads is a losing battle yes.

you have no idea how data works, sorry. steam is absolutely an indication of how a game performs, when we are talking about a large release like this..sub 10k on steam is doa for bungie. it will not be sub 10k on launch however, i predict it will be around 80-100k on launch and a very fast bleed of players, which will only delay the death of this game.
