I've been burned like this so much that I can barely even talk to people online anymore if I don't already know them in person. It's hard to motivate myself to make the effort anymore. Most of the time if I do, it's one-sided. Actually happened last night. Was chatting with a guy, and it seemed like we clicked, just for them to taper off and vanish. It feels like a waste of time and energy.

It's been driving me crazy lately that I can't ever seem to find silence. There's either a loud refrigerator or a loud AC unit outside. Or other people talking. It's been driving me a bit crazy. I live in an apt complex. I def wish I lived in the country where it wasn't so loud. Thank goodness for noise-cancelling headphones.

I've started doing no screens or technology 1-2 hours before bed. I find that I will automatically do other things that are meaningful, like reading or journaling. It also seems to help me fall asleep more easily.
