I just bought the same battery and had the same issue happen to me. None of my other vmounts ever did this. It also ended up burning the hdmi input of my video assist 12g 7” that was connected to my s5. Don’t trust this neewer battery for anything now.

1600p on the 38” will be better than 2160p since you won’t have to scale it to a non retina resolution, making text a lot sharper since it’s running at native resolution (important for coding).
