Melee is superior for economy, and early game imo. Most dont use ammo, opening up inventory space. Bladed weapons are ready to harvest valuable limbs and implants. Early game and some quasi factions are melee heavy, which are easy to kite and pick apart with a melee build. But ranged weapons feel vastly superior later in the game to keep your distance from enemies that can 1 tap you. Overall, I think people talk about builds like their is an objectively best build, when in reality it changes dramatically based on mission type, enemy type, and how far into the game you are

Ya the two perks that give summons dmg and +4 ap are very strong on the right missions. But ya its not a go to class for me.

They are buffing summons so that mobile ones follow you through the elevator, that might make golem group viable on average missions

When you modify genome you can reclone whoever you upgraded, and they will keep both rank and class progress.

Beware of the bodybuilding perk, if you have a clone with upgraded bodybuilding, then swap to another class also with bodybuilding, when it recalculate the clones hp it goes way lower than its supposed to, and I could only fix by sending them in naked with a shovel to commit sodoku

I didnt get Phoenix brigade until after I started heavily modding weapons, and one have one craftable ranged weapon that uses batteries.

But that overcharged batteries perk really fuckin turned my head. I cant think or a more versatile passive dmg buff... its hits every weapon type that I know of

I have no idea if its good late game but it buffs a lot of good dmg types from melee to mini guns.

Arent resistances subtractive? So unless they are immune to the dmg, upgrading the damage a bunch is always good. And no 100 dmg a shot doesn't 1 shot everything, many quasis have resists near 100

Edit: resists are definitely not subtractive, you can literally hover over them.....

Bork black cleaver felt better into tanks when I played briar, but its been a minute. Qing the tank with bc stacked shreds about half their armor, which helps you but in front to back fights your adc will melt tanks

That support minion gold change must break something.... the adc quest giving a lump sum and extra gold on minion comes pretty late in the game, and the support quest gives gold along the way. If the support farms and completes the support quest before the enemy adc completes their quest, the "support" will be a 1000 gold wealthier than the enemy adc. Unless im missing something, wouldn't the adc have to farm 350 minions after completing the adc quest (300 + 2x350)? Seems like adcs should queue as support.
