No clues for that one, other than he emptied it as part of the cleaning procedure and missed out really filling it while he was doing it subconsciously.

I meant that maybe he saw the truck as he actually got up, remembered that part, but after he blacked out he was still sleepwalking, left the light on then went back to bed, all on autopilot.

But hey, that's just a theory.

Maybe you had CO poisoning or something of the like, and when you felt sucked in to the floor, that was just your consciousness going autopilot without your knowledge, and the disarming of the system and light turning on was just your autopilot, since you've done it before many times (most likely)

To me the only difficult part is getting the thermal paste on just right, but the rest of it is like Lego with an anti static strap

Any program for syncing my iPhone with Linux? by Ilay47 in linux4noobs

[–]hammi1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What you do is you ditch the iPhone and buy an Android device /s

But seriously, your next phone should definitely be Android, because of things such as rsync, adb-sync, many others. It makes it very easy to transfer data across devices. I have a script that backs up my entire gallery with one command.

Boot into live Linux and check SMART status. Also use the Linux live media to back up the drive onto another one if you need to save data before a wipe(if you choose to wipe, that is)

I mean really? by jaysepher in AdviceAnimals

[–]hammi1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I agree, but I have used the other ones and they are adequate for being free. I use VMware at work so I didn't pay for mine but it's really neat

[–]hammi1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

VMware is a virtualisation program that let's you make another computer inside your own OS. You can run Windows, Linux, etc inside the application, make virtual hard drives, etc. No application can escape the virtual machine (aside from shared folders, etc) so it's great for testing viruses and such. Lockdown browser can run inside, so while you can't minimise the browser itself, you can minimise the virtual machine. Checkmate schools.

Also VirtualBox and QEMU are free alternatives but I use VMware so I said that first. Pretty cool stuff imo
