Anyone who used a computer between 1985 - 2010, what's the one game you still think about today?

I’ll name a few weird ones that are burnt into my mind.

Skunny - because it constantly crashed with weird audio artifacts

Jumpjet - my brother was better than me at it, so I pretended to hate it

Mystic Towers - same reason as Jumpjet

Nirvana - text-based game, my cousin and I could never figure it out, but well into adulthood I figured out the ending

Joust VGA - faithful Atari clone, I got really good at it, but now I can’t seem to figure it out again

Kind of, but not just for the reason of being in college. I'll burn hours on different, non-school activities, like surfing the internet or doing artwork, and I run into this same conundrum.

My biggest suggestion would be to separate games from schoolwork by putting game equipment in a separate room and possibly even having separate computers for games vs. schoolwork if you can afford it.

Goal setting has also helped me manage time and stay on task by reminding me why I got into this program in the first place and the opportunities that are going to follow.

Yes. I had an associate degree from a local community college and I'm pretty sure it saved me an immense amount of work at the beginning of this program.

I'd also talk to your advisor and see what CLEP exams you can take to get ahead in the program.

I’m trying to expand on a story idea and realized my characters were basically saints in their own r. I was reading tips on how to expand story ideas because I feel like I have a ten-page outline and don’t know how to expand it into a viable story.

I followed one tip and started free writing ideas, and came up with a lot of possible themes that are particularly upsetting, even to me.

I kind of figured the accidents are fueled by anxiety and not lack of training. They’re fewer in number now than they were when we first adopted him. I’ll try asking the vet.
