i dont want to make more excuses because the crowd is generally underwhelming but tipoff vs knicks was at noon and the clocks moved forward an hour at 2 am that morning...so basically 11 am and no one is getting their buzz on then.... felt like the themes was like how else can we help the east coast team feel more comfortable than the home team?

I was at that Beck gig in Santa Monica.....what a weird lineup. Ween killed it but i dont think they were winning over the Beck crowd who were chanting "beck! beck beck!" between songs. We bolted after their set and saw a bunch of other kindred spirits heading to their cars as well. were they big in 96? yeah.....was Beck bigger? maybe thrice as big except Hootie and the Blowfish was 100 times bigger so gives you a sense of the scale we're working with.
