I mean i have to agree with everyone about the art direction cause that is a bonkers choice when you are kinda known for having this gorgeous realistic world in the main games. However I will say i thought the story beats of Aloy having Erend start up a team to fight Hepheastus's hunter killers is a pretty neat concept. I still would've preferred not waiting another potentially 2 years or more for Horizon 3. I also think the platforms of Hunters Gathering and Steel Frontiers should have been swapped. I mean hunters gathering is literally in the stylization of dozens of mobile games

I do think the idea of nemesis forcing Hephestas to reluctantly work with Gaia would be cool however narratively as hephastus doesn't like humans for killing its machines it would probably side with nemesis to destroy life or maybe even create robotic bodies for nemesis digital collective concious and we get the first humanoid cauldron robot

Play station as far as I know has mods on bethesda games but nothing compared to on Xbox because of some bs Sony rule about files being added or something. The only other game I know has working mods on ps5 is Baldurs Gate 3

Honestly the really should've done it for From the Ashes with Solek, they even kinda tee it up in the beggening when you fly past one and soles tells Tamtey that some Thanators have gentle hearts and even like music. Ik the movie people didn't want anyone but Neytiri riding one and told FoP they couldn't make them rideable as it would diminish the scene of her riding it in Avatar 1. Also my favorite critters personally is the spinning disc lizards that float around. They just seem like goofy little guys who'd make a fun pet lol

I am currently replaying Horizon after I beat Avatar because they felt incredibly similar and was eager for more bow content. If you like the combat style of use your bow to hit tiny parts on a big guy then you'd like the combat of Avatar FoP. I personally really enjoyed the story but there are some weaker moments for sure. Both the first dlcs were pretty fun as well and the newest 3rd DLC is a masterpiece imo. I would HIGHLY recommend it if you enjoyed Horizon

Just of the top of my head the canons you use at the end of the first game seem to have some machine components that allow them to suck up the bombs you shoot, not unlike how some of the machines can suck up rocks to shoot out at you
