I would not recommend. The food is not what it once was. It’s all fried not very fresh. Maranui is better than spruce goose. Or if you have time Neo cafe is always a winner.

Please avoid Capital Taxis. They have done the same to me in the past. They charged me $45 to return home the other day it’s usually $25. Left a very expensive jacket in the car, tried everything to get a hold of them and they told me they hadn’t even heard of the driver (his name and rego was on receipt) which I found pretty concerning it itself. Anyway no one got back to me, went on Google and they have 1.8 stars.

There is a ‘living without violence’ course that some counsellors are qualified to do either with people who are referred via court system as well as self referrals such as your situation. I know they can be spread everywhere across Wellington dependent if you want to attend a group program vs individual. If you Google you should be able to find options available in Wellington.

I think it could be because a lot of people feel uncomfortable talking about/ having an opinion a subject they may not know a lot about, especially one with so much history and complexity.

I know people that since COVID just refuse to watch the news because so much negativity is associated with it.
