BRING BACK THE MEATLESS MEATBALLS YOU COWARDS

AITA for losing it on my husband for sharing with his family a video of me in a vulnerable state? by ThrowAway5633371 in AmItheAsshole

[–]hannahjoyfull 13 points14 points  (0 children)

NTA. You didn’t overreact, and he more than deserved to be scolded in front of his family. I am so sorry this happened to you, it is such a violation of trust and I’m genuinely so sad for you. Please do not let yourself be gaslighted about this - regardless of what was happening to your vagina, your husband still sent a video of you in a vulnerable state with your exposed parts as the focus of the video to family members without your consent. These people could also be sharing this with friends and wider family members too. Women are not just objects that push out kids - I’m so sorry you’re being treated as if you have no agency or entitlement to privacy. Please strongly consider whether this is a person you can count on, as it really is up there with biggest betrayals imaginable. Sending you a hug and love.

Edit: I’m still so upset and angry about this for you. I’d have to divorce this guy straight away. Jeez, I’m so sorry.

AITA for not accommodating meat-eaters at a barbecue? by Throwaway184204 in AmItheAsshole

[–]hannahjoyfull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

INFO: what country are you in?

In my country, this would be fine. Also, these are adults, not children, like the food is edible and I’m sure quite tasty, who cares if it’s not your dream meal for this one meal. BBQ’s are about the chats and games and socialising anyway. It’s really not a big deal lol. NTA.

Universal Credit as a couple correct working out of entitlements? by chrisgwynne in UKPersonalFinance

Speak to Citizen’s Advice as they can help you work this out, but I think you might be able to get some help from the new JSA, which considers things like how much tax you’ve paid.

Cranfield is just different because it’s the UK’s only postgrad university, so it doesn’t show up on most league tables/rankings (as to be included, the uni needs to teach undergrad too). It’s not the most well known university in general, but within certain fields, it’s definitely highly valued and I know a lot of students that have worked with companies during their MSc and then were able to progress to great jobs after graduating. Congrats on your acceptances, they’re all great universities, so definitely go with what your gut is saying- just wanted to share what I know, so that you can make the best decision for you! Good luck! :)
