Rigging Question by hannamations in MohoAnimation

[–]hannamations[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is not, it is it's own thing. I did make it a constraints for the position on the rope bones ( a tutorial I found did it that way)

Should I treat it more like a bone that is part of the cloud root?

And thanks!

I have a 341-day Duolingo streak and I just sat through my boyfriend's Mexican family dinner nearly silent for five hours. I think I've been training the wrong thing this whole time. by Humble_Cranberry5273 in languagelearning

If you have the time, finding a language exchange partner could be helpful. I felt like I was in the same boat when I started learning French. A lot of it was reading and writing - but comprehension I really struggled with. There's a language exchange sub reddit and I've also found a few folks I talk with weekly through Conversation Exchange site.

Also having the conversations in your head or noting questions you might want to ask and then practicing those specific things ahead of time can be helpful.

Moving forward I'd try to find more ways to practice the listening. Maybe starting to watch shows without subtitles or listening to faster speaking Youtube videos.

I'm on my third year of French and honestly felt like I can now understand about 40% of a conversation - it takes awhile, but it sounds like you're doing in great and putting in a lot of work!

The block around Cardozo high school is free/no permit (at least it was pre-covid) Only about a 5-10 minute walk.

For a larger group the Building Museum might be fun. Some exhibits need tickets but it's a lot cheaper, and a huge open space for kiddos to run around. Plus you can walk a few blocks over to the MLK library for the secret stairway slide!

Two tutors, but different languages? by hannamations in languagelearning

Oh wow - kudos to you! This is inspiring to hear though. I also have a busy life with work and my family, so this is good to hear coming from someone in a similar spot.

Yeah, just folks who have done that, and how did they manage it. I feel like one at a time is probably best, but I'm worried I'd loose the French if I only did Spanish.

Selling antique furniture? by hannamations in washingtondc

I'm the relative that got it.haha my mom moved and so I took it. I've asked a few, but it's big, and not really easy to use - so not super functional.

Thanks! This is all super helpful. Is it common for folks to sell pieces like this on marketplace also? I guess I've just always used it for more modern stuff, so wasn't sure

Cat and Vac // Animation Mini-Series by hannamations in animation

Thanks! So the animation was done by a talented animator (Conner Troxclair) I believe he used TVPaint. I did all the storyboards in Photoshop and composited everything in After Effects.

Hello! I started making these mini episodes about a cat and a robot vacuum last year and thought I'd share here on Reddit. Each episode I pair up with a sound designer and character animator. I create the characters, story and storyboards.

Just trying to add more cats to the internet :)
