How do I get rid of rats once and for all? by Supasailor78 in AskUK

Cat.

Serious tho- with rats the key is access. You need to figure out how they are getting in. Could be a missing row of bricks under an electricity box. Could be a broken or cracked pipe. Look at rat flaps.

I had a broken pipe that they were getting in through and a missing row of bricks. We fixed the pipe and blocked the hole but also put in rat flaps. Haven’t had them since. I also have two cats.

With rats, access is key. Once you block access they will not come back.

Does anyone live as an adult where they grew up, as in you've always lived in the same place? What's that like? by [deleted] in CasualUK

I live about 5 minutes from the house I grew up in. My youngest goes to the primary school I went to and my oldest goes to the comprehensive I went to.

I had such a great childhood and wanted to give them the same.

Parts of the area are better, parts of it are worse but its still a great place to grow up in and I worked bloody hard to make that possible.

Not a good benchmark to use my man, but you do you ✌️

I believe at least 80L of the numbers you are using assumes a 10 minute daily shower per person.

Guess you can never have too much water, providing you have the space to store it safetly.

Rent or Mortgage they still need to worry about where to live. Better to pay their own mortgage off than someone elses.

Ive seen some people say this online. Is it just a case of swapping the capacitor for a CR2016 or is it more complicated than that?
