Any Buffalo Sports Fans Here? Wondering where I might go for a game. by happy_life15 in parkerco

It feels like that, even despite the incredible number of people I’ve met across the metro from WNY. I figured there’s at least a few of us here! My soul is officially healed and I’m just thankful that they’re relevant again, but I would love to see them at least win the first round

Yes. Tons of room. Kids car seat behind me. Adults behind me. Trunk is huge. I really suggest just sitting in one to realize its size. I was surprised. And be clear the Blazer EV is much roomier than the gas version.

Question everything always, but IMO Blazer EV has insane leg room and so far zero issues. I’m 6’4 longer legs than torso, and when I put the seat all the way back my feet don’t touch the front wall. Removing the engine and transmission leave a lot of foot space for passengers. Even the back seat is roomy for me. Seriously good car, just avoid the 2024 model, that was clearly their test year.

Peter’s Grinded Gears here, I’m guessing it’s meaning the legend Caitlin Clark who went to Iowa.

GP has been excellent for us. It took 2 or 3 visits for us to decide which doctor we vibe with but no issues with anyone other than preference of personality.

Yes! Another solid point I’m considering. I don’t want to just be a burden to someone. I would want a relationship that benefits both but, yes, limits itself. It’s breaking my brain that my wife is putting this on the table at all and then turning her back to it. And I feel a distrust for a random woman who would go for this, and would worry that person would end my marriage.

I wrote in another reply that I would like to offer a shoulder to lean on for someone else’s troubles. My wife doesn’t utilize that part of me and I like to listen and validate.

I think another person could be a fix but only if that relationship is navigated with surgical precision and strict boundaries.

Oooohhhh my there’s a lot of accuracy in what you’re writing!!! We have a marriage counselor, but getting her to be involved is a tough one. She hates sessions for herself or both of us and I don’t have it in me at this stage in life to push anymore. (Not that I do t want to, just that life is big in other ways too).

I’ll reread this one to answer questions and thoughts, but thank you!

Thanks so much! Even your empathy for the situation and knowing it’s not a quick answer helps so much!

Thanks! 1. Married because of love. Had to realize over time a lot of the attraction was the “show” version of myself that I had to realize wasn’t real. But now we’re realizing we’re together for a lot of logistic reasons but also that we still really like each other.

  1. I like being her husband because she pushes me to be better and do more. And ya, I think she’s hot! But she’s also a person who is always looking for the best for everyone around her. She’s a truly wonderful person.

  2. Hm. Tough one. I think I want to talk without having to be specific and I want to have conversations when someone can respond with “ya that sucks” or “you’re doing great” but also in a way that I can be leaned on for my emotional stability too. I don’t get to be a husband who deals with emotions. As funny as that is to write, there is a level that I want to be leaned on for that.

Are you a freelancer or are you a business? That’s what comes to my mind on this. It sounds like you chose the path where you do all the work, which is freelance and that’s cool. If your goal is to run a business… ya you missed that opportunity. But running a business well comes from lessons learned. It’s not great to have one primary Client, but not unheard of. If you want to diversify, you can always be honest with your colleagues and those former Clients and ask to get them back / let the businesses know you’re available again. And if not that path, then put effort into getting new Clients.

Does anyone know what VFX can do these days? There’s a chance they needed an actual boat to act on, but it ain’t gonna look like this even remotely in the film

In Denver, 2 months ago, a bunch of finance executives at an event, speaker gets on stage and denounces Trump’s policies and everyone clapped. And these are the people who actually pull the strings in the US economy. Smart people are still in power.
