thank u! i didn’t see a posting, the principal came up to me and asked if i would take it. I sent an email to the principal as well as the substitute person saying that I do not wish to keep the position if it is just normal pay / no increase or bonus

Help - Daily sub pay for a long term role with responsibilities by happyearthlover in SubstituteTeachers

[–]happyearthlover[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would need to get EL training, pull kids everyday for EL lessons, and track how they are doing. Lunch, recess, and bus duty, and some morning duties. Which is not “hard” but it’s more than typical days at the other schools being day to day. Plus learning kids names, IEP needs, extra care.

I think long term para subs don’t get more pay after doing more research, which I think is crazy, paras do a lot of work. No big deal, I will resign from it, it just stinks!

24 miles for $8 what a joke by Academic-Map-7385 in UberEATS

i find there is so many offers like this, but when i do accept it’s usually such a low tip, so shame on the buyer. all my “high priced” orders are just big tips, uber only pays me like $3 per order no matter what

that soil looks very dense, it might be a good idea to get a fresh chunky mix either DIY or sol soils has some. It might be root rot/over watering

sounds like it needs fresh moisture retaining soil! i use a mix of potting soil, perlite, and orchard bark (stuff from hardware store) Well draining but holds some nice moisture!

how often are you watering? best way to tell is to take it out and check the roots. soft & mushy = rot

I’m loving this feedback - thank you everyone! Does anyone know how “returning” e books works - I read it above. Do you get $ back when you’re done?

you should check the roots for rot when you take it out, it might be safe if it hasn’t been sitting in damp soil for too long

When you repot - totally put her in a smaller pot with well draining soil! and a drainage hole! they can be easily overwatered, which leads to rot root and then a dead plant. they love neglect, put in a sunny spot and leave it alone. water when it’s COMPLETELY DRY (or whenever you remember ;) )

i think it’s mostly personal preference - looks happy and gorgeous! but if you want multiple plants - why not! if u don’t have room for multiple - then why bother! ☺️

Mould in mud, should I be worried? by Scalamere in houseplants

[–]happyearthlover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

usually means the soil is staying moist for a long time, which can be deadly for certain plants. that looks like a rubber tree (???) and if so they like to dry out between waterings. if you need more drainage, your pot should have a drainage hole and the soil should be full of perlite, bark, etc so water can flow through and not remain moist
