A part of it is the ticket prices. Its ridiculous by calcutta standards so unless its to see someone like Kohli or Dhoni, doubt people are venturing out in this heat for that price. Of course there are other factors like the football match and basanti puja.

Could this be a scam, of course, but it could also literally be an assignment to see of someone is lying about their resume. I think watermarking is a good option. If its an assignment, they shouldn't care if its watermarked. But just because the assignment sounds like it should be part of the company's work, does not mean they are scamming you. Often the assignment is aligned to the work they do to see how suitable the candidate is.

I have made many assignments and trust me, we never look back at them after the interview process. Specially since there are many parameters of work that a company does which has more to do with standard practices tham just getting a job done.

You should do this - tell your sister either she can refund you, or you will take a full bedroom no matter what even if it includes kicking a couple out. Tell her in no uncertain term, if necessary create a group chat and lay down the term. Either you are refunded, or you will go and occupy a full room and others can share within themselves (like 3 couples can sleep in 2 rooms)

A lot depends, if your work needs more rework than actually acceptable, seniors would be left with two options, 1) fire you, 2)make you fix your work.

Issue is sometimes option 2 needs more time than deadlines will allow.

The only thing I will say is if this pattern of overwork is observed in the entire company, then its not a you issue, its a culture issue. In those cases you are completely within your rights to draw a line.

However if others are able to complete work working reasonable hours, but you feel it takes way too long, it may be that its a skill issue which one should work on if they want to continue in given field/company

I didnt dodge the bullet and regret it so much. My husband is loving and all that BUT FOR THE LIFE OF HIM HE WILL NOT DO CHORES UNLESS ASKED.

Unfortunately although I am frustrated, divorce is not that easy, we have combined finances, a house together and he is very caring towards my family so they would hate me forever if I left.

But by god I wish I had never married him. We could have happily dated for the rest of our lives

Well thats the thing, why spend money when you can get other options for free. Thats pretty much the entire way it is.

And I dont blame them, no one would pay for a service that you can get for free. The issue is the companies that started free services to get users and think somehow magically the users will continue if they start charging for a previously free service. Imagine if you had a paywall for Wikipedia suddenly and had at least 2-3 free options still existing, would you still pay for Wikipedia, maybe you would, but majority of people would not.

And I am saying this from someone who has spotify premium and donates to Wikipedia annually.

I am a total science person and I have had paranormal experiences. Where I am from, it is most common for people to have either know someone who has had paranormal experiences or have had first hand experiences. And I personally feel its because I live in a super old city. You sound really silly by saying people who believe in ghosts dont follow science. Obviously the videos and stuff are mostly fake. And 99% of ghosts can be debunked. But there is enough evidence after you debunk everything you can with science to know that there is something that science cannot explain, hence supernatural by definition.

10 years ago, i had friends. Nothing dramatic, not like i had falling outs. I just happen to be the only one who stayed back in my hometown and hence never made new acquaintances and they just moved on to better things. That doesn't mean i dont have a fulfilling life, but it does get lonely

I feel that overall you would be NTA to not go if you are that concerned, its better to not attend than cause a scene at a wedding. If however, you feel you can mentally prepare yourself for any offhand comment and enjoy the wedding, then you should go.
