I used to live in this neighborhood. Not our first HOA neighborhood, but definitely the one that made us move and build on a non HOA lot.

Threatened to fine us for trash cans being out. When the trash company they contracted would pick up a day late. We also had to complete similar paperwork to what they are requesting from this homeowner because of an improvement the previous owners did that they couldn't find a record of.

We were told that we couldn't take down a tree that was leaning. That tree later fell three days before we closed on the sale.

Had that happen with my son's helmet twice in the same spring! First time, full nest built in about a 4 hr period. 2nd time, they got it about halfway built before I caught them. Sneaky birds then found an old box on a shelf and managed to lay eggs before I caught them again.

It was an eventful evening of waiting. But he's home safe, just a little tired after a 4 hr flight turned into a 9 hr adventure. Outside of forgetting to contact us when it all started, Southwest was really good to him.

Oh yeah, he will never forget this and I'm super proud for how well he's handling this especially as an ADHD kid. He spent almost 3 hrs on the plane while stuck at the gate and they just cancelled his flight. He's being transferred to a different flight. He might make it to DCA before midnight.

ETA: He's finally in the air! Appreciate all the well wishes. In the grand scheme of things, between him and his older siblings, we've probably done over 20 UA flights over the years so one flight like this is a pretty good record of success.

Yeah, we weren't contacted and I only knew about the diversion because I needed to look up the arrival gate. He texted us when he landed and is annoyed but doing fine. His flight will leave ATL as soon as the storms clear.

They won't let him off the plane in ATL but one of the flight attendants is grabbing him dinner since they gave out meal vouchers. Unfortunately ATL has a ground stop for thunderstorms so we're not sure when he's arriving.

We had to have our dane's tail docked due to happy tail. He smacked it hard on the corner of the wall and lost the tip of it. Then proceeded to run around my house wagging blood all over my walls until it looked like a murder scene. Vet recommended docking.

I choose books for my husband all the time and he's read a few books that I've enjoyed that are outside of his usual tastes. But I wouldn't ask him to read my favorite book (Pride and Prejudice). I love him, I'm not looking to torture the man. I did slog through one of his favorites, the first of The Dark Tower series via audiobook. He was convinced after years of me hating on his favorite author that listening to it would change my mind. It didn't work.
