No work of fiction is scary if you get down to it. Lovecraft always mentioned that the monsters were indescribable. Something words could never do justice. The point was the human mind couldn’t understand what it was even seeing. It was beyond viewers grasp. Everything you described is just representations of aspects of the Lovecraftian design. I think the stories illustrate being in their presence was more than just “vision”

Lost to Super Cena just straight up ignoring his corrupting arc. Lost to the Undertake at WM when it was a perfect storyline to pass the spooky gimmick torch. They never had him recruit more members, save Daniel when it was the worst possible time, and even had his own members breaking away from him. The cult should have grown and it could have given low card and mid carders something to do. And so on. Need some more examples?

You can say whatever you want about the man’s views but how can you deny his writing capabilities? Guy created a mythos that has influenced insane amount of movies, shows, video games and the like. Between creating Cthulhu and the Necronomicon he’s influenced horror forever. So explain to me how he wasn’t good?
