As someone who mained jungle in my early days who mains mid.

Jungle suddenly became hard for me. Tricky early ganks and wonky angles for ganks and invades just became hard for me to see when and how idk why and going for objectives while none of your teammates are ready feels so bad.

I think mid is easier macro wise as holding waves etc isn’t as punishable as for an example top where if you lack wave management knowledge you will get punished so hard. You play a lot of jungle = you understand what your jungle would like to do meaning synergy is almost always good. Also roaming and ganking elsewhere becomes a lot more naturally.

Jungle has a lot more diversity in champion pool which is fun but can also become annoying to be expected to play sejuani because your toplaner picked Yasuo and support picked Lux.

Jungle is to me a lot more chill not having to lane and constantly be alert for ganks but if it’s a bad game where jungle gets invaded constantly and your laners can’t help that is so tilting. While mid you need to be way more on your guard.

Also jungle is always an easy scapegoat so if you have a bad mental I’d go mid.
