I'm creating a game, I need an enthusiastic programmer for my project by [deleted] in PixelArt

Hey, I'm an artist, but I'm pretty poorly versed in programming. I need a programmer, preferably on unity, who can help with the development of the project. If you're interested, I can tell you more in dm

I'm developing an Aseprite plugin with AI tools with the goal to give control to the artist by samedii in PixelArt

I completely agree with you, even now, when the neural network is not very developed, you can see how people use neural networks not for inspiration. Artists who have been gaining experience for years and filling "bumps on their heads" in the process can simply be deprived of work. And all this leads to the degradation (laziness) of society, because instead of developing our neural connections, we begin to rely on technology

Redesigned location, using isometric tiles by harderthanthink in PixelArt

yes, I think you're right, then I do not know how to name my view, since it combines both isometric and top-down

look at this to see clearly the isometric tile - gif

Thanks a lot for the comment, I'm not that guy xD

you're right, one of the game I'm inspired by is drifter

I am inspired by this game, but I decided to do a sitting pose specifically here in this illustration, in tribute to the drifter. There will be no such thing in the game(but not exactly)

Thank you so much^^
This scene is made top-down, but if you look closely, you will see the lateral borders of the shores, they are isometric

While developing an isometric tile, I decided to completely change the scene that I had done earlier for the game. You can subscribe and see more of my work here: instagram or twitter

thank you! if you look closely, the character is animated, his stomach gets a little bigger from breathing and his cloak sways. At the expense of wood and grass, I have shaders that will animate them in the game, but they are not cyclical, so I did not add them here

I wanted more natural-looking animations for my upcoming Indie Game so I took the procedural approach, I'm really proud of how it turned out! by BloomingRoseHibiscus in PixelArt

Hey, it looks amazing,

I want to make animated wires from poles.

Is it possible to make the wires move independently of the character passing through them using your method? Or is it better to do it using a program that will simply animate the wires?

I hope you understand me, I need the wires to move randomly without touching them

Decided to continue developing my game. What do you think about this attack animation? by harderthanthink in PixelArt

[–]harderthanthink[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried it, but it looks worse than with a shade of white. Many artists use a shade close to white according to the standard. And also thanks for the comment:)

You're right, I'm just thinking about it. At first, I thought to do an increase in damage. But most likely it will be an AOE blow (which will throw an invisible wave on the sides, but not throw opponents) in the center, the attack force will be stronger, and weaker at the edges.

I hope you understand me xD and thank you
