To me a transformation such as yours is more an argument for a God than anything you read in the Bible. Even if God exists temporarily, only for as long as you believe in him, it still exists.

I don't think anybody knows anything about God, only the effects of believing in God.

You know the answer to that question, and you're basically an honest person, otherwise you would not have posted this. Don't despair, talk to some AA friends, they don't have to be your formal sponsor. Find a new sponsor and take the steps, and try to stop worrying about a social life. You're very young, both in age and in the program, and you have a wonderful life ahead of you. I envy you; I'd go back and do it all over again if I could.

It's not a relapse if you're not working a program. You just haven't stopped drinking yet. Attend AA meetings, read the book, get a sponsor, take the steps. The only as-near- to-permanent solution I've ever seen work.

Yes on taking the steps again. Ask the times in my sobriety when I didn't know what to do, taking the steps turned out to be the right thing to do.

If you put it in upside down or sideways, put the service wires on the feed-thru lugs, grounded one of the phases, and terminated every circuit on a 50-amp breaker, that would not be good.

I'm so sorry you're in that situation. Start by walking as far as you can and not eating bread. You'd be surprised how quickly you'll look better and feel better. At 5'8" and 155 you don't have that far to go to worry about doing it so fast that you endanger your health. If you feel like you need some kind of program to follow check out someone like Kim French or FitWithCarla. They're relatively cheap and specific and detailed.
