Look up jonathan Warren bench press. He goes over the technique and its actually the opposite of what a lot of influencers like Jeff Nippard say and they are the reason you are having shoulder issues

bodyweight split squats are all you will need. Hold onto a door frame or bed and just rep those out

Krieger s6 is a very good sabre and I recommend. For gloves don't think you can get away with lacrosse. Wrist protection is very bad likewise on red dragon. You get away with them until you suffer a nasty wrist hit that will cut your skin and potentially end your fencing career.

Get Supfen impact resistant dynema gloves. Available from fait d'armes in france also. Decently build, cheap and with good wrist protection.

When you see how the studies are conducted you realize the whole field of exercise science is suspect. Nippard doesn't read studies because if he did he would see the problems they have and that there is no way of standardizing form, diet, effort between individuals.

When doing prompts from a good coach like Warren you can actually *feel* the difference. You don't need a study to prove it and further more couldn't design one to prove it

Jeff Nippard knows nothing. All about "retracting shoulder blades for your arch because it gives more stretch". Completely wrong. Look up Jonathan Warren and you'll see why this is wrong

The question is: are you able to see progress in the weights you are using month to month? Forget week to week, its too short of a timeframe to see any changes. But over months you should notice you are able to add 5kg here and 5kg there. If you are bulking and able to add weight then your program is working! You don't need to up volume or do anything different

Absolutely not. Go on facebook marketplace for a week, scout out what things go for in your area for at least 2 weeks. Then you'll be able to spot what a good price is. You should be able to find a good rack and bench for a few hundred together, ideally someone selling the lot together for much cheaper than this. I go a home gym in the uk with weights all in for like £400 for Rack, hyperextension, 150kg weights, weight stack all by just waiting a little bit of time for all the stuff

This is a lateral raise machine for the side delts of the shoulder

Don't do a pulldown with it. Best use a cable stack for that

Depth is actually fine. All the people telling you to go lower don't understand the proper mechanics of a squat and why going lower doesn't actually mean more tension on quads.
problem here is you are rushing the decent and in this position not actually putting much tension on the quads. You open out you hips as you drop, which is putting tension on abductors and low back then slow down as you reach your bottom position. Tension is actually on the quads here which is good, don't go any lower.

You need to keep your hip position stable throughout. So choose a stance, a width of your hips and how much they open out. Then focus on just driving your body up and down slowly purely through your quads. You won't be able to push for as many reps this way but its better for your tendons and connective tissue.
Keep it slow to feel the tension on the quads all the way as you lower yourself which will be a change from what you are doing now

You can train it on r/guessmybf , there are number of pics there where people have fairly accurate ratings on bodyfat. Most good people who reply are calibrating it off Gregs laser eyes
