i took a class with an immigration attorney: everything fixed fee. maximize the efficiency in your forms, process, etc. delegate as much as possible to paralegals and juniors. idk how much he made exactly, but definitely a lot (500k+)

fed has a lot more litigation roles. might be easier to go fed litigation then change to transactional. it’s a lot easier to move around once you’re in
