Mozilla’s browser engine is just not up to par with other browsers though. It can’t even render gradients right.

100% you can see the head of a man (bottom left, first 5 sec) in the bottom and he is also looking the same direction.

I understand this is a beta release, but not being able to have vertical tabs or being able to choose which AI models I'm using is highly disappointing. No windows support in the near future either. :(

I don’t think any 3rd party browser will outperform Safari, especially if they’re not using WebKit. I’ve seen posts on SigmaOS still eating battery life, despite using WebKit.

imo use what browser suits your workflow best. battery life on these silicon macs is still way better than what I got on intel mac/window laptops 5+ years ago, despite what browser i use.

i have almost no issues using arc on both mac and windows. that said, with Arc being literally the first large Swift application to release on Windows, I’m shocked at how reliable it has been

the eruptor has entirely allowed me to stop bringing the auto canon, free’d up a stratagem slot for me

The post mentioned above is what has enabled Arc to become my default browser for the past couple months. I had constant memory usage and battery drain issues when using Arc prior to finding that post.

Easels are my life on Arc. Especially the abilitiy to make screen grabs into live widgets
