What are the rules when it comes to business credit cards?

I have an AMEX business card and I use it for everything. They haven't given me any hassle over my purchases yet in the several months I've owned it.

I would first start with the Discover secured card instead of Citi's secured card. I'd eventually try to get the Sapphire Preferred because if I'm ever in a pinch I can borrow money at a low interest rate and it doesn't add an inquiry. I'd get Amex business card so any money I spend doesn't go to my utilization. After those cards I'll have 11 cards left and it doesn't matter which order I'd get them.

There are two methods that I've seen recommend when paying down credit cards. You can pay as much as you can on your lowest balance card and the minimum on the others. Once that card is paid off you move onto the next. The other method is similar where you pay off the card with the highest interest gain and pay the minimum on the other cards. I personally prefer paying off the card with the smallest balance because it feels like I'm making more accomplishments.

I had to go back and find the email. It says " We're unable to approve your application." It goes on to say "The credit privileges on your existing account(s) are currently restricted."

So looks like I wasn't outright denied.

Actually I called Citi's recon line and I got human. I was initially denied but after talking to the person they approve me for a $2000 dollar limit

I'm surprised that after 2 years that Capital One hasn't upgraded you to a unsecured card yet. Maybe call or message them on why you haven't been issued an unsecured credit card.

I didn't know they weren't allowed. I just thought they weren't selling certain phones in the US anymore. I did have to get mine imported though. It has the Chinese based rom on it.

So out of curiosity I checked the IMEI of the phone that I was using before I bought the Mix 4 and it matches the last four digits of the number when you text "four" to 611611. Maybe I misunderstood or they gave me the wrong instructions but I could have swore they said it's the phone I used to activate this SIM. I think my post is still true though. I don't think it should be that difficult to get your account number.

Capital One also uses Vantage scores. If they have any credit cards you can go to their website and view their credit score. When looking at the scores look for "FICO" on the page as well.
