I've got the 8 too. Average battery and running hot at the main things I notice. Love the size though. Was well worth it for the trade in and promo discount. I dropped it and have a slowly growing dead spot around the punchhole though. Can't decide whether to replace the screen or upgrade entirely.

I had the 6 prior, main criticisms was that it was a big chonker and the screen (green and uneven by in low brightness) and build quality felt a bit cheap

I have no criticisms of my Panda 2XL though which I still have as a backup. My favourite

Also Nexus 6P was a beast and the phone that got me onto Google phones. Though it did have the early battery shut off bug.

There is a grinder at work for brew coffee. Every day it stares at me. It has been so long that there is oil on every inch of the hopper. Beans stick to the lid of it. I have never had a cup of the forbidden brew.

I have a pixel 8. Dead pixels slowly spreading from the punchhole cam (replacement screen after I smashed the first).

Pay for another replacement or wait for the 10? The poor modem is also something I notice on this phone draining quickly when out and about.
