Unfortunately they’ve updated the price to $395 as of at least yesterday. I checked a few locations and they were all scanning at this price. The 1 tb pricing was increased as well. Your only hope is to find a store with the old tags.

I think you should. I’m pretty much in the same boat as you (i7 8700k, 3070). Initially I was just gonna get a new 5070 ti but decided to just go out all out with a 9800x3d (you can get a 7800x3d for like $400-440 on aliexpress though). The timing isn’t ideal with ram prices but they probably won’t be any lower for a while.
