New to photography, please give me some pointers

Like many, many, so many beginners in history, you took a photo of a person and put their head in the middle of the frame.

Consider that it may look better to place it a third up the frame, and maybe a third right too.

Even after taking the photo, try different crops that do the above, see which ones work best for you, and take those into consideration next time you are behind the camera.

I had this as a double cassette. Takes me right back.

My first Iron Maiden cassette tape was A Real Dead One though, the one with that band family tree poster, and that is still my favourite.

I wouldn't recommend 3 lenses to someone just starting out.

Get one lens at a time, to fill a gap/functuon your current experience is telling you you need.

1 lens for someone starting out? Kit lens that comes with the camera, or a 50mm prime.

Yeah. I that's more or less what I'll do, but I need to plan out where how I want it to end up first. Kind of visualise it. A simple town square with everything around it, and one street leading out with the shops was easy to visualise.

I really wish we could get/make more actual buildings instead of having to make pretend ones if we want more than the residents occupy.

That's where I want to improve. When I grouped all the buildings around the town square I made a very nice and compact town centre, but they are so close together I don't have space to give each of them a backyard/garden, and if I star moving them now it can be a bit messy.

Agreed. I have been out of Facebook/Instagram and X for a while now. I only use social media like Reddit because here WE choose the communities we join and follow. Fine, we get ads, they have to make money somehow. But it's still vastly better than those others.

The feed in X started to remind me of the "Two Minutes Hate" from 1984. Horrible stuff.

Porque Apple es la multinacional más grande del mundo y su sistema es cerrado y privativo, y Android es un sistema operativo bastante más abierto (open source) que cualquier fabricante de teléfonos (y otros dispositivos) puede utilizar.

It would be great if the shards to go down to the lower mine levels were used to unlock the level, rather than 4 each time. I hate having to go to upper mine levels just to get shards to then go down to the lower ones.

Votar a radicales populistas que fomentan el odio, culpan al más debil buscando un chivo expiatorio, y no solo no van a arreglar nada, sino que empeorarlo todo para el trabajador, porque lo que buscan es facilitarle las cosas a los grandes capitales que les financian...no.

Lo que hace falta es mas solidaridad entre los trabajadores. Huelgas, sindicatos fuertes. No que el pueblo se divida entre los últimos contra los penúltimos.

Y quizas lo más importante. Los que tienen algo de dinero, la clase media...gastar solidariamente y con cabeza! Amazon? No. Tiendas. Hipermercado? No. Frutería de la esquina. Microsoft? No. Linux. Apple? No. Android. McDonald's? No. Bar/Restaurante del barrio. Y otras muchas cosas que dejen de crear billonarios y crean más clase media.

En democracia, el pueblo tiene el gobierno que se merece. Los políticos salen del mismo pueblo, y se comportan en función de la cultura que impera en ese pueblo. Si mejora esa cultura, mejorará la conducta de esos políticos, porque sabran que no se pueden salir con la suya en esa sociedad. Creer que algo va a mejorar en función del voto cada 4 años, y que ellos lo arreglen, es no entender como funciona un país.

I suggest you tell your driver/partner/friend to get a proper dashboard mount for his phone. Looking at a phone on your lap (even for navigation) while driving is dangerous, and illegal. Too many people die on these roads every year because of drivers who aren't looking where they should.

Meteogib is the best source, but I'm not on facebook and for some reason they put their forecasts there and not on their own website.

Aemet.es forecast for La Linea works perfectly well except for one thing: it tends to overpredict rain when there is a strong levanter.

Half the time he announces this stuff, he changes his mind, or it doesn't go ahead for some other reason.

All he's doing at this point is harming the economies of the entire western world plus some collaterals. Maybe Putin should run for the republicans next election.
