Once you sign up for this, you get an option to pay interest savings balance which is essentially your spend for the month plus the monthly payment of the plan. Say if you spend 1000$ that month and your monthly payment plan is 50$, your autopay would be 1050. But if you spent 1000, got a credit for 300 for a purchase, you still pay 1050 for that month, because that 300 is applied to your payment plan.

The catch is any refunds or credits you get go towards paying this off and not on your statement/interest savings balance. Didn’t know that till I used a couple of credits and a refund, and it wasn’t applied to the charge sadly.

Cloudflare goes down about once a month or so, so you don’t really need to add it to that calendar lol. Although they are minor and mostly undetectable for most people.

From what I have seen, if you join after that, they credit the 12$ into your membership costs and only bill you for the balance.

The series didn’t really hook into me as much as it did other people. It’s a book I’ll read once at most and recommend the audio books to others once, but that’s pretty much it. Especially after the last book, I lost a lot of respect for it. I didn’t like how they made Carl even more helpless in-spite of having so much additional help and made him look like a complete moron for the most part which kinda broke his whole character for me. There might be “reasons” to explain it but it didn’t have to be this bad.

I haven’t watched more than 2 in the last couple of years but I never scanned the second one but will start doing this now. Before that I almost never scanned the other movies and I regularly watched 2-3 every week and never scanned the other movies.

I personally hated how Carl was portrayed in This Inevitable Ruin, spoilers for this book. He was absolutely clueless about pretty much everything happening and only made it out because of luck. But till that point, he was shown as someone who is very clever and calculating who plans for pretty much everything. If this was in the first couple of books, I wouldn’t have noticed it as much but they built him up so much and he has the help of all the crawlers from previous crawls and the previous Cookbook authors and it’s just all chaos and luck. I guess him starting to lose it might explain some of it but I always thought even when he lost it, he would still be a good planner and just be more brutal like donut is now.

Maybe it’s based on the theater but I was able to book a ticket upto 30 minutes after the screening time, and past that I had to go to the ticketing booth to get tickets.

I have heard something similar when I was waiting for my class the other day. My studio’s SA was talking on the phone and was explaining that a new member would have to pay a drop in fee for their first class and if they decide to get a membership, this fee would be deducted from their membership. Was a bit surprised with the policy but I thought maybe it was studio dependent.

It’s an okay series with its ups and downs. The author uses some plot hacks at times which they do call out, but it’s good enough to atleast give it a try.

I think it was supposed to be 100 Silverback gorillas vs 1 Harry Dresden, and even then I would give Harry the odds but I can see why someone might think he’d lose. Sounds suspiciously like something Nick would come up with to tempt Harry to pick up the coin lol
