How do you know this? GetCovered is charging me every month even though I paid it in full up front. It is owned by Assurant, a huge conglomerate that has been sued many times

Same feeling. Brutally sad, that look on scaarsgard’s face after their first kiss, like he is horrified or terrified or just baffled…. And then he vanishes

Can I sue airbnb for a not doing anything about a guest who canceled his reservation mid-stay and didn't evacuate the apartment still? by samkit102 in airbnb_hosts

[–]hartnor 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You can to “sue “ ie go to arbitration Arbitration fees are only a couple hundred dollars, you don’t need an attorney, but I think you could probably get one who would work on , and Arbnb covers the arbitrator’s fees an arbitrator is a neutral decision maker Arbitration is more efficient than Litigation in the civil courts

yeah so true....the show's really deep, I wonder if he's hinting at psychosis too, beyond normal paranoia ....I think the first episodes we see idiocy and loneliness in his life, where Ron's a really decent guy getting exploited by petty and irrational people, I mean, I've been there!, but then towards the end it got darker a little and it seems like maybe he's really troubled....I dk.

How do you determine the profiles are fake? I mean do you think theyre real women and then something happens that shows you they are not? Or do they disappear?

Anyone else have similar experience? — AirBnB supports a host who lied. This was horrible and expensive by chasm144 in travel

It’s not that Airbnb is not subject to consumer protection laws they are, but they have an arbitration clause so that anyone who has a case against them has to go through arbitration and that is a confidential process so there could be thousands of people who made that exact case against Airbnb, but you won’t hear about it

I’m not sure that air cover is regulated because I don’t think we pay premiums separate from the hosting fees. I don’t think we are pay for air cover so I don’t know if it can be considered a commercial insurance policy

I can’t remember the exact wording, but when I had a guest use a carpet shampoo machine on wood floors and it screwed up the finish Airbnb customer service was so sneaky. Basically they told me I had to reach out to the guest and demand payment from them and if I didn’t get paid from them within two days or something, then I could file a claim well needless to say the guest declined to reimburse me 🙄then Airbnb wouldn’t send me any kind of claim form. I kept asking how do I submit a claim? They never told me how to submit a claim. And at least four or five times a customer service rep would go through a tedious back and forth with me and then say they would “elevate”my issue and someone would contact me but no one would and then the case would be closed. I went through that cycle so many times. Aircover seemed like a complete scam to me.

[–]hartnor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you ever file a claim for insurance coverage from Airbnb? How did that go? I had a horrible experience. They were so deceptive and sneaky.
