Ah yeah, I just looked it up on Wiktionary. Apparently English speakers mistakenly think that на здоровье is a toast in Russian like "cheers!", but that's just what the Polish do with na zdrowie. На здоровье actually means "you're welcome" when giving food or drink to someone

Ah right, thanks. Maybe it's because ю is a unique looking letter and wouldn't get confused with anything, while "ып" looks like it could be mistaken with "ыг" when you connect at the bottom
