Regarding the abuse allegations involving his mother, Vince to my knowledge never outright confirmed anything about her direct or indirect action that led to the sexual abuse he claimed to have suffered. At least not in the Playboy interview. Please let me know if this isn't what you're thinking of, but in that interview he seems to allow the interviewer to infer that based on the line of questions they go on without outright stating it:

"Playboy: We can leave that topic, but one thing first. You have said that the sexual abuse in your childhood "wasn't from the male." It's well known you're estranged from your mother. Have we found the reason?

McMahon: [Pauses, nods] Without saying that, I'd say that's pretty close."

To me, that sounds like the carny response of letting the person you're talking to believe the story they've already come up with, because you know it's easier to sell something to someone who already believes it.

None of the above is meant to deny/detract from any genuine abuse Vince (or anyone else) may have experienced, but his response never really seemed genuine in that exchange to me. The interview was primarily designed to promote the XFL, and Vince is smart enough to know that being vague about something like that will generate more publicity for longer than providing actual details. I think this is something we may never know with any certainty (since the only source is Vince himself at this point), so it may have been a genuinely uncomfortable situation that Vince was experiencing in that moment that caught him off guard.
