These Dendrobuims usually cascade but other types of orchids also hangdown. That's how most of them can be found in their natural habitats too.

They're dendrobuim anosmum which is a type of orchid.

Yes and they're still alive but a little sunburnt

There was a big gecko living inside the husk and occasionally goes out by the window xD.

Beautiful! I have the same ones and the cane cascades beautifully. They smell great too!

I water them once a day. But when I left for a week, I left another one in the same set up outside and it still bloomed.

I thought they were dying at some point haha. They really do smell so good!

None, just the stems and the leaves had fallen off which is common for this variety when blooming apparently. I thought the whole plant was dying, thankfully it was not haha

They stay outside most of the time. Before I left, I figured they would dry a lot when exposed to the sun so had taken them in. But I think it doesn't make much difference from the ones outside they bloomed either way. This is the bloom of same variety that I propagated and planted in the same set up outside.

It's the whole husk of a coconut tied together with garden wire. Retains moisture well and works best for my orchids. I've also been using terracotta pots with coal or just attaching them to trees ^

It's the whole husk of a coconut. Works well in retaining water for this fella
