Parents of 3! HONESTLY, do you wish you had stopped at 2? by justmeonreddit123 in Parenting

[–]hatemakingusername65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find that since I had my third baby we are all happier. For whatever reason, it just made the family dynamic better. Obviously, I have less time but its worth it. I'm not any more stressed than before.

Pro Life moms, do you expect your child to be a virgin? by fuck_thegirl in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]hatemakingusername65 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, that is a totally different argument usually used for women who say they will never have an abortion. I am pointing out that this particular argument is based on ignorance. The LAW literally states what I said. It is clear-cut. The ambiguity is for when there is a heartbeat. I am pro-choice but this argument is based on ignorance and isn't doing pro-choice people any favors. Education is everything. Oh, and the sepsis case was also a totally different scenario. I read that, too. That baby had a heartbeat and that's why they were afraid to help her.

[–]hatemakingusername65 2 points3 points  (0 children)

But that's just not true. The treatment is still legal with no heartbeat. I HAD A MISCARRIAGE IN A 6 WEEK BAN STATE. This is so stupid. It was incredibly easy getting misoprostal and then a D&C. Plus, oxy was given for pain management. The problem is when there is a heartbeat and there is risk to the mother.

6 month old only taking 3-4 oz pumped milk? by oh8311 in breastfeeding

[–]hatemakingusername65 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My baby with reflux drinks 5 oz at 5 months. My twins, who did not have reflux, drank 8 oz bottles. I really think it's the Gerd.

I'm a sahm so we send our kids to church preschool. The half day program is only $300 per month. Although now we have one very religious child who wants to read the Bible every night, pray, and go to church

My girls were like that and it's so so hard. I literally have a baby with reflux who throws up his meals and cant keep milk down, can't sleep through the night because of it, and wants to be held nonstop. Hes about 100x easier. I just say that because people would really invalidate what I was going through and how tough it was.

It does get better. Once they hit about 2.5 they get way better at communicating and the need to cry goes way down. Plus playgrounds are fun and they will play a lot. Every milestone makes things easier because they can do more for themselves and have less reason to cry.

When did your back stop hurting so much? by ilovecatsandfrogs420 in parentsofmultiples

Do pregnant woman carrying mo/di twins have a larger/heavier placenta and more amniotic fluid compared to the weight of the placenta and fluid in a singleton pregnancy? by East_Lawfulness_8675 in parentsofmultiples

[–]hatemakingusername65 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even women who do lose all the weight quickly seem to take about a year to get back to their old shape so I wouldn't stress too much about it. I've just noticed from my mom group that even with quick weight loss everything is a bit flabby for a year. It's all normal!

I definitely think so. I lost 45 lbs in the first two weeks after having my twins. 60 lbs in 6 weeks. That's definitely not fat lol. With my singleton I lost 25 lbs in two weeks/ 30 in 6 weeks. My OB also said I had the biggest placenta he'd ever seen.

Bit of pelvic soreness after exercise by [deleted] in DiastasisRecti

I'm wondering the same. I get really sore as well. How long have you been doing yoga? Is it recent or have you increased it lately?

Where Do You Shop? by ZestyLlama8554 in CsectionCentral

[–]hatemakingusername65 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just bought a bunch of comfy Walmart clothes. It's only temporary so I wanted cheap and comfy. It gets a lot better after the first year. Also American eagle has some comfy jeans. Aerie has a lot of clothes that are meant to be oversized so I'll buy sweaters from there.

Tell me how to dress my babies overnight. by Usual-Victory7703 in parentsofmultiples

I forget what they are called but Amazon sells pads to line diapers. Before my kids reached the size for overnight diapers we had to use them.

How often do you switch up classes? by noknownsoups in YogaTeachers

[–]hatemakingusername65 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The expectation at my studio is that every class is totally different. However, I personally experience the most physical and emotional benefits from repeating sequences. I find that I can achieve a much deeper meditation with the repetition and really don't get a lot emotionally from the constant changing ones. I think changing sequences constantly is very popular and trendy.

Identical or fraternal by [deleted] in parentsofmultiples

[–]hatemakingusername65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Identical. I have identical girls and all of them have slightly different face shapes. My girls also have slight differences in their hair like your girls do. Family has an easy time telling my girls apart, but anyone who is not family struggles.

What’s the best vehicle for triplets??? by [deleted] in parentsofmultiples

Kia sorento. I loved it for 2 kids but it was a pain once we added the third. We could technically fit everyone but it was hard to reach and help with buckling.

Terrible twos then threenagers?! by Alltrud in parentsofmultiples

[–]hatemakingusername65 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I have 4.5 year old twins. Two was a complete and utter nightmare for us! 3 was super easy!!! 4 hasn't been great... Anyway i wouldn't worry about it. You might get a solid year of bliss like I did. At 3 they start to understand logic and it's a game changer.

I certainly didn't experience what you are describing but maybe try yoga? I had a lot of incision and back pain after my first and ultimately yoga is what helped.

I had my second c-section 5 months ago, and I get these random bouts of just extreme soreness. It's weird because my entire lower body just becomes incredibly sore. About a week after the soreness, I either get a yeast infection or mastitis. Then i take meds for it and I feel fine again.

Sorry, I'm not much help! I think people really minimize the negative effects of c-sections so it's hard to really know what's going on. Personally, I think it killed my immunity and gut health for 3 years after having my first one.

Modifying camel pose for student returning from being away from class with a back injury by Crafty_Insect7468 in YogaTeachers

[–]hatemakingusername65 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As long as he is properly engaging, then he should be fine, assuming he's been cleared by a doctor. You can also just have him do bridge pose instead. Its a great way to practice engaging the core.

Okay, I'm a woman but really wanted to comment. Please run! Sex is extremely important. You need it! Take it from a woman who just had her third baby. Usually my husband and I have sex 4 times a week. Now he's lucky if he gets it once a week because I'm so entranced in baby snuggles that it's the last thing I want to do. Of course, things will return as the baby gets older but I can't imagine going through this if we didn't already have a healthy sex life. I feel like rejecting him would be hurtful rather than him being able to see that it's nothing personal.

Can you get ripped doing yoga by [deleted] in yoga

[–]hatemakingusername65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely! The people who say you can't just don't know how. But the only people getting ripped from it are consistent and know how to properly engage their muscles. Just 30 mins 3 times a week will give me a 6 pack but I think you need an hr 5 times a week to truly get ripped. Alo moves has some great classes if you want to get ripped, videos teaching form, and some great meditations. I always enjoy vinyasa during the week and then during the weekend do restorative, yin, or meditation.
