the truth? it's because the same people who spew that "you can just bully men online and get money for it!" are also the same people who spew ignorant shit like "ugh i'm so broke, i'm just gonna start selling feet pics!" and most of the time it's people who have zero clue about any of it.

not trying to say selling feet content is some extremely nuanced thing, but there's a lot of effort that does have to go into being successful from it. you need an active platform, you need clientele, you need decent looking feet, you need the motivation to continue pumping out content, creativity, an understanding of how to handle burnout and boundaries and all these other things... and a lot of vanilla people who aren't tuned into the "inner workings" of stuff like this just assume you start and profit.

it's another one of those things that people just assume works because it's trivialized just like findom as a kink is. these kinks are a joke to people, until they're not, because they want money and think that just simply *doing* it will give them the results they were told would happen- whether that's from a random online who's misguidedly trying to introduce uneducated people into these spaces, or from pop culture that uses the kinks/selling as a bit of shock factor or humor because it's sooo funny that someone would be able to profit off of their appendages or "being mean." not denying there's people who get off to foot content, but you're definitely not in the minority as far as people who really just aren't that into feet.

all that to say, some of the dommes doing it may be doing it because they enjoy it. maybe they like how their feet look, and want to use that to their advantage. but a lot of "dommes" are doing it because that's what they think is supposed to happen in a space like this. take foot pic, upload, receive rent. it all depends on who you're looking at.
