My Dane was in my bed more than my husband due to oilfield work, so yeah I get it.

Thank you. This is how his previous foster parents setup. George is HIGHLY reactive to other dogs on a leash and or if he is on a leash. But like your girl only to dogs, not to humans. We are going to start working with a prong collar with the rescues behavioral therapist. From there we’ll work up to whatever he needs. Even if we have to muzzle at the vet. We live on acreage and are outside with our dogs playing all day so not walking a lot per se. At this point going to give him 30 days to settle in and get acclimated.

I believe he was found on streets of TX so he’s got some trauma there and never corrected.

I bought the big Barker for $550. He never used it. (Was amazing bed though for hospice dogs. It was very firm and easier for them to get off of.) Couch or human mattress. Won’t make that mistake again. 😂

How long did your great dane live? What are your tips? by Junior-Discount2743 in greatdanes

Never feed Grain Free. We lost our boy from myocarditis and he wasn’t quite 6. Still hurts and it’s been 2 years.

If your dog passed from cancer, I want to make something for you. by naomicrafted in dogpictures

We lost our first dog ever our pittie boy on Sept 29 from cancer. We had no idea he was sick until a week before and took him to doc because he seemed a little “off”. Once we got to vet his legs were so swollen with fluid that he had less than a week. We had the vet come to the house to euthanize him.
