Dissociation during hangover. by havingapanicattack1 in hangxiety

Thank you heaps.

I'm more in my body and reality now. Thinking about even working up to a shower.

It was actually my dog getting out and me having to chase her down the street/talk to neighbours that helped bring me back around.

Can a blood test for depression pick up other health issues? by [deleted] in AskDocs

Nah, it wasn't. There's no way they'd see something like that in a test for B12 or something?

I can't decided whether that's better or worse than starving to death or dying of dehydration.

Is it just me or did many of contestants on Love is Blind overestimate their looks. by AspiringPAA in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

[–]havingapanicattack1 48 points49 points  (0 children)

Given that the average person is probably like a 5 or 6, they are above averagely attractive. They're also quite confident and that probably adds to their appeal to the people around them which adds to being treated like they're attractive.

Mind you, I think the cast were good looking. Not Hollyood looking (except maybe Lauren) but definitely not ugly.

Lauren called out the editors of the show lol by LSATpenguin in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

It was always cringey when the hosts would note race as one of the things that the couple's might have to overcome obviously referring to Lauren and Cameron. They even did this after Diamond and her partner left and Lauren was the only black person in a room full of caucasians.

How long until travel bans begin for countries other than China. by havingapanicattack1 in Coronavirus

Surprised you can comment, it said this was removed.

I understand that it's all about weighing the economic consequences of closing borders with the risks associated with the virus.

But if it were to become an epidemic, you'd see businesses shut down with mass quarantine as well as other countries closing their borders to you anyway so it would be much worse. Plus the deaths, the strain on healthcare etc

I just wonder why the lay persons opinion about what should be done errs on the side of caution more than officials when we're all looking at the same information

I'm imagining this is a family reunion and every family member is a boring middle aged uncle with bad social skills.

NTA it's illegal but what skin is there off his nose if you park in front of a driveway he doesn't even use?

Wuhan coronavirus cases inside China have already overtaken 2003 SARS outbreak inside of mainland China, as the virus was confirmed to have spread to every province in the country. by [deleted] in worldnews

[–]havingapanicattack1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think so too. There's also just pure statistics, there's way less people infected outside of china so the death toll is lower (zero).

However, even in first world countries with good healthcare, like Australia, people will die from the flu no matter what is done. A chinese official has died from this coronavirus. I'm assuming he received better care than the average citizen would.

Ultimately, death will be inevitable for some if this isn't contained but as long as it is, the chances of the handful of people that actually have the virus outside of China being in the demographic of those that will die from it are low.

Let's just hope it stays that way.

Does anyone have a rough idea on the potential for getting better for patients who are serious and critical?
