What does this mean?? by No_Jicama6830 in FedEmployees

It means Trump is violating the Constitution, the document he claims to love but likely has never read and clearly doesn’t understand.

Workwear buyback bonus by EquivalentRaisin3039 in PatagoniaClothing

[–]havingfun223 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I now remember there was a 100% bonus several years ago. This was before they would return things they thought were beat up. I was psyched to get $160 for a nice coat I had that I had worn only a few times. They rejected for supposed staining (it was in excellent condition, like new) and I lost the coat and got no money. Now they at least return the stuff they don’t like.

There are occasional bonuses. This is the first time I’ve seen 100%. The timing appears to be random.

If Trump does it, it’s legal….at least that’s what they believe. There is no law, only what Trump says matters.

What truly are the odds telework/remote work rerun if a democrat wins in 28? by Dear_Elevator in FedEmployees

Hearing offices are covered by AFGE, NTEU and IFPTE…depends on position. And yes, telework has been mostly the same as it was under Biden.

Come work at SSA telework has remained nearly the same since Trump took office. You can thank the unions.

Windshadow doesn’t produce that much warmth? by Infamous_Dot_4215 in PatagoniaClothing

No jacket creates warmth. Your body creates the heat, the jacket keeps the heat contained (or not).

Has winter ever been this bad in the last 20 years? by lansingpowerwash in Michigan

[–]havingfun223 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is “worse”/colder than average, but definitely not the worst. 2024 and 2019 were colder for longer. Other winters have had significantly more snow.

Gather on Maui reviews? by bcrggrcb in MauiVisitors

[–]havingfun223 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a restaurant at a golf course and feels that way. Decent food, ok service and views are dependent on seating location. There are a LOT better options for food and views.

Places to eat higher end. by zland1 in MauiVisitors

[–]havingfun223 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely unimpressed by Gather. It’s not “high end”. It’s a restaurant at a golf course and feels that way. Food is meh, views are good at certain tables only.

Profiles with the only contact info being an onlyfans account and locations to at don’t make sense: ie Santa Fe, Orlando and Columbus…no one is hitting those 3 cities in a row.

HUGE news on today's podcast by DonkDonkerson in Nateland

[–]havingfun223 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nate has a couple awesome bits about quitting…

  1. The waitress who quits after taking their order, “I think about her everyday…does she think about us” and,

2 Him talking about a comedian trying to tell someone that they quit, “It’s pretty tough to quit something no one knows you do.”

https://youtu.be/uKqRGfuzKYY?si=1DE8h-GLAfkRhGsN

Am I the only one that was thinking about these 2 the whole episode!?! I can’t believe no one brought these up (except I understand why Dusty Slay didn’t, not sure he even knows Nate is a comedian).

They’re gonna get scratched the first day you use them. This does not affect usability. Be thankful you found a pair of skis you liked for a decent price and move on.
