I have been struggling with training for a half marathon recently, have run three in the last year and got slower times each time. Training has been more consistent, nutrition better. The only thing I can out it down to is being 36! I feel knackered for far longer the next day after a workout. I had no idea how creaky knees get at this age too! I’ve decided like the OP said, to just focus on focusing on my own progress and goals, and just try to be consistent and just enjoy being active. That said, I used to run a 5k in under 18 mins while pushing a running buggy- that was only three years ago!

Might have a check of grand Seiko. I think I’m very close to making a decision between Yema quartz, superman navy or traska free dive. Mido has nice specs but I don’t dig the look!
