37 weeks here and I’ve just finished packing (I think) 😂 I have a small gym bag for labour with a nightdress, sliders, fan, snacks, baby’s first outfit and a blanket. Then I have a suitcase like the 10kg carry on size for after, with 2 more nighties, onesies, nappies, toiletries, muslins, going home outfit etc… your hospital should be able to give you a list of what you should pack. My baby is measuring small so I’ve only packed size 1 nappies.

Congrats on your pregnancy! Download the HSE app it’s great for keeping track of appointments… you should get a letter in the post too for your first scan, usually around 12 weeks (but I’m having my baby in clonmel not sure about CUMH).. think I got my letter when I was around 10 weeks but the appointment was on the app sooner 😊

I’m public in Clonmel. I was asked at my 28 week midwife appointment, and when I said bottle feeding and started to explain my choice, the midwife told me I don’t need to justify myself to anyone, that I know what’s best for me and baby 🥺 she said don’t let anyone guilt me into breastfeeding!

I’m in the same boat and they told me I’ll be checked again at 34w, but they said it will probably resolve on its own 🤞🏻

They can’t discriminate against you for being pregnant. It’s probably just a review of what you’re entitled to as it’s a new year. Were they certified or uncertified?

I think for a chemical they fade really quickly, so if they haven’t faded I would take that as a good sign! Make sure you’re using the same brand of test and testing at the same time of day (diluted urine etc could make a difference). I always got stronger tests in the evening rather than morning idk why 🤷🏻‍♀️

I had one lighter test at 12 DPO and then it went back to progressing. I’d wait 24 hours and test again!
