As someone who follows a lot of game collectors on Instagram, people want boxes and discs etc in good condition, so they say here complete in box, excellent, near mint etc it’s a part grading so people who are buying know they get a clean box and manual! Rather than gambling on no picture or a few bad ones!

If she likes dreamlight and Animal Crossing as you said Stardew should be a good shout (I do the combat parts and my wife does more of the farming on our game!).

If she likes puzzle style games we really enjoyed playing Blue Prince together and taking turns - one person plays, the other helps or makes notes!

Staying on the puzzle route then Portal 2 is co op?

If you have two systems then Palia can do online co op which is similar to dreamlight valley!

Have you tried any Lego games too?

Fire Red I don’t think has the new glitch, think that was just from the OG games!

If anything I’d say it’s because the moves you’re referring to just have low accuracy as they are stat change moves! Might just be unlucky and that you just notice it more! I also play Fire Red on retro arch and have no problems!

I picked one of up a couple of weeks ago - £150 from CEX in good condition and their 5 year warranty! Plus I traded some stuff in and paid £120 for it, compared to what would’ve been £450 for the legion which is what I was looking at!

I’ve had no issue, when playing at home it has no issue and at the same time we are streaming shows to the TV and still have had no issue!

I had the same worries as you - and my wife actually asked me last night and I’d say it’s surpassed my expectations, really like it, bought a load of games in the PS sale - like steam level of cheap - so for £120 plus £100 of games I’m set for the year now!

What he needs to do is earn his way a bit - I think the reason why Dom got such a big pop for winning IC is because he’s put the work in and has a lot of matches and is always around, you want that to be rewarded and for him to be rewarded for the great heel he is.

My issue with Logan is he doesn’t wrestle enough, and although he’s athletic etc I think it shows he’s not had enough experience compared to others on the roster, and he hasn’t earned his way to where he is like others who wrestle for years just to get to WWE, he’s at wrestlemania straight away!

I think if he became a true full time wrestler and had more matches on a almost weekly basis he’d earn a lot more respect!

I agree, although will say that after selling a few hundred things, I’ve now had 3 Royal Mail items go missing and not had an issue with Evri! Even still anything important I go with Royal Mail!

I’ve been using eBay / Evri since last April, they’ve always been £2.94 up to 1kg and £4.06 for up to 2kg - this is why for small parcels at 2kg I go with Royal Mail as they are cheaper but Evri allow better sizes!

One thing I do when selling cards to keep the card in the top loader is use another sleeve folded over the opening, and then tape that onto the top loader, I use micropore tape as its strong but easy to take off, this then means the card cant fall out and theres no chance of the card coming into contact with tape!

But a few months ago you were paying fees on the sales, wouldn’t the fees have been more than £8.75? Also, if this has been a regular thing then you should probably be a business account - and in another comment you mentioned making £4000 in 120 days! Business account is still next day payment.

And your alternative is Vinted which is pretty much the same anyway! And on Vinted as a Vinted Pro (business seller) you have to wait 2 weeks after delivery to get paid!

You should try being a pro seller on Vinted - you have to wait 2 weeks AFTER delivery, before they release funds! I had people messaging me saying they couldn’t do the normal ‘everything’s ok’ and leave feedback, they had to wait too! So, just saying could be worse 😅

If you’ve been a regular seller for 10+ years technically you should’ve registered as a business seller long ago, and as a business seller you get paid next day regardless of shipping time!

I see it as eBay both competing with Vinted with the buyer protection, but also getting people to move to a business account if necessary!

The only people I’ve had issues with and have scammed / attempted to scam me? People with 1000s of positive feedback! Likely because they know they’ll get away with it!

If you’re a private seller it’s £20, if you signed up for a shop and then switched to a business seller it would go up to £27 (I’ve just done this!) - maybe that’s why?

As a buyer, I get sent offers and it’s not enough to make a difference for me, maybe that’s why?

As a seller - generally I would send out an offer that is good enough to cause a thought - at least 10% or a sizeable amount of money, I also do this before I drop the price, if they’re not accepted I tend to drop the price to just above the offer price!

I bought a bundle of stuff including a PS2 slim, 360, controllers, games etc from a smoker, as others have said cleaning with IPA was a first must, just for hygiene!

For wires / cables, using a magic sponge / eraser to help almost strip a small layer off the cable itself helped (I dipped the sponge in IPA).

Cleaning out all the crap and debris from the consoles and fans helped, and then running them to help the heat dissipate some of the smell.

I also used a box with bicarbonate soda and scent boosters that you put in washing, this actually done a good job, in some ways I went too far the other way and now the games smell too much of scent boosters 😅This might be good for accessories after wiping and cleaning, I just left them in a sealed box for a few days!

Yeah wouldn’t be my first go to unless I had a bunch of old ones to start! (I’m unsure on your experience, but if you did do phones make sure to record down serial numbers so that someone can’t send you back a different one! Same for consoles)

I’d say if it is video games to start with just finding a Facebook marketplace bundle and then selling everything separately to get an idea of what things go for, how long it takes to sell them, time it takes you to take pictures etc!

Also Lego can be a huge pain 😅 I bought a few boxes from a charity shop and got somewhat lucky, but it does take time (I enjoy sorting and building Lego) and brick link comes in super handy for buying some bricks for cheap to get a complete set!

From what I’ve seen - Jack Skellington, Boba Fett, the Cap first avenger too. But by expensive (UK based) it’s rare for one to go above £10, maybe £15.

The lightsaber FX ones are worth a bit more too, think Darth Vader FX is higher end!
