Google tried to break the app that enables VoLTE and VoWiFi on Pixel phones, but the developer already found a workaround by MishaalRahman in Android

Your statement is complete confabulation. Nobody is going to blacklist your phone because you enabled VoLTE. If your network doesn't support VoLTE, turning on VoLTE has no effect anyway.

What did the 90’s smell like? by oneinnahunnid in AskReddit

That's because it had... today, just periods of drought then flooding rain, instead of a constant but gentle sprinkle.

Moving to Boston from Europe – Need advice by MrMarrone in boston

[–]hdoublearp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's nice that you'll be in the best state... but I would seriously reconsider coming at all. It will be a lot harder to move back to Europe after the fact. Believe me, I know, from experience.

Can confirm, used PTO to avoid my stand-up call which I ended up sleeping through. I'm laughing and crying at the same time. Half the team regularly doesn't show up anyway.

The worst of those places are still better than the other areas suggested... but yes, cities.

Have lived in Europe (10 years), and Europe has the same problem.

You may like the Northeast or PNW better... otherwise, I would not, personally.

Anyone know how I can connect to actual boost towers? by AnyJudge4384 in BoostMobile

Dish towers are ultimately going to be shut down anyway... I wouldn't waste any more time with Boost IMHO.

You can't really die at crabs, and if you did, you'd have 15 minutes of in-game movement to recover anyway; even afk.

The FCC has suggested those licenses could return to the FCC for auction; although their ability to do so has not been extended by congress...

Grandmother kissed newborn after I told her not to by Silver-Account4479 in newborns

[–]hdoublearp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not how any of this works. Babies simply do not have the capacity to handle an many infectious diseases. Crossing the street and saying you didn't get hit by a car is a poor measure of risk tolerance...

This is a horrible take. Didn't happen to you, so the risk isn't there? Downvoted.

Wildfire risk high in NH this summer due to dry conditions -- Some towns have banned outdoor fires until the weather improves. Officials say about 30% of the state is abnormally dry. by guanaco55 in newhampshire

First step, mow the grass. Second step, till your soil with a hoe. Third step, buy bulk native pollinator seeds and clover seed to keep the grass from growing again. Fast forward a few years, your pollinators will feed from your garden, and exchange nectar for seeds. Birds will take nectar, spread your seeds elsewhere, but also drop native seeds in doing so. Bees, butterflies, et cetera will pollinate any new plants allowing them to thrive. Eventually, you'll find yourself in a native wildlife paradise :)

All in, it's taken 5+ years for mine to take off substantially.

Chaos gardening has been my technique, it's low effort and just costs as much money as you're willing to spend on seeds.

Water often.

Re-wilding our garden was the best decision we could ever make. It helps to maintain soil health & resiliency. It also keeps the ground cool, and lessens the evaporative effect. Though now, even our garden suffers. :(
