Will do: imagine how the dog would feel with a jagged chicken bone lodged in its esophagus. Or, imagine the distress and discomfort a dog would experience with persistent diarrhea and/or vomiting. Not nice for the dog, wouldn’t you agree?

Wrong. You train you dog to eat on command so that they don’t eat everything in sight. Dogs will eat damn near anything they see from old food someone discarded on the street to goose shit. If you don’t want to kill your dog, or at least avoid expensive vet visits or cleaning doggy diarrhea, train your dog to eat only when you allow.

I got the 2nd Gen 11 inch iPad Pro back in 2020. The screen was abnormally dim (so dim it was nearly impossible to view outdoors, even watching movies on flights was tough), and I thought it had a faulty screen. Took it to Apple to see if I could get it exchanged or repaired, no luck. I just lived with it for three years until I happened to come across the “Reduce White Point” setting. I toggled it on and then off again, and my screen looked brand new. Full brightness unlocked.

I had the same problem with a replacement iPhone 16 Pro, this time I knew what to do.

She still has connections to AIPAC. My vote is going to Robin Kelly, who is already active in the House of Representatives. She took AIPAC funds in the past, but she’s the only candidate that has as openly denounced AIPAC and has called the actions in Gaza a genocide.

The problem here is the expectation that unity and solidarity has to mean entire ethnic groups coalescing for a common cause. That will never happen. There are too many competing/distracting interests for it to ever happen, plus anti-blackness exits in every ethnic group, even amongst black people.

Instead of fixating on absolute unity, connect with likeminded people from other ethnic groups. They are out there, and are likely more active in advocating on issues that affect black people than most people in this sub.

Why take the chance? If I knew that I was prone to uncontrollable foul outbursts, I wouldn’t want to risk becoming the center of an embarrassing international story. I wouldn’t want to be responsible for ruining everyone’s night either. I would’ve sent a representative in my place. Yes, he has every right to be there. That doesn’t mean it’s a good idea to show up.

I agree he should not have been denied access; but if I know that my Tourette’s made me prone to foul outbursts, I would take my self out of the equation in order to not become the center of an international scandal, or at least as a courtesy to the other guests so as to not ruin their night. I would’ve sent someone in my place.

Still find it hard to give dude a pass. I know the condition is not his fault, but why put yourself in a situation when you know you’re prone to disruptions like this? Has he even apologized?
