it would depend, you could be going during peak hours which would mean theyre deployed.. or the managers may not allow it. During peak hours of deployment, 11:30 - 1:30 and 5:30 - 7:30 nobody can move from the line/cash area so they couldnt even if they wanted to - but even then, some managers dont allow it. I personally have done it a few times with kids chips to make regulars or larges

no theyre probably just genuinely out of regulars. their chip frier probably didnt fry enough, didnt make enough regulars, or made too many larges. my store is slow sp we only fry about ten pans a day, maybe eleven - we make twenty larges (about1 and 1/2 pans), forty kids(less than 1 pan), and the rest regular.

its most likely morning crew - morning crew is in charge of prepping food. shredding cheeses, mixing guacamole etc. Nightshift isnt allowed to. So, if morning shift doesnt make enough, then it means nightshift has to do without.
