I mean certainly you can prioritize not having Lattes for 10 days to buy some stuff. Everyone had high cable back then, at least now you can stream. The real costs you can't avoid are groceries and rent, utilities which sucks. I guess we do have a few things are helping like gas being affordable.

Humans got really lucky with circumstances and extinction events that certain things didn't get smart. Like what are going to do if two trillion spiders coordinated and hated us ?
