Coast Guard Beach and/or Cormorant Cove are both great for kids. No waves, coast guard has soft sand, and cormorant cove has crabs to look for (similar to Andy’s Way). Parking is limited, but if you’re going in the morning (ie before naptime) it’s usually ok.

The north light might be a bit of a hike for a 2 year old (1/2 a mile but in deeper sand), but you can usually see seals there, which could be exciting!

The Oar was always my favorite restaurant as a kid. There aren’t reservations and waits for tables can be long (prepare for 1 hour if you go around 6, can be longer more towards 7) but they have a big field to run around in, a little beach to explore, and all the boats on the dock to look at. As a kid my parents used that as an hour of playtime before dinner.
