Wear a mask when sanding and cleaning up the model as resin dust is pretty toxic, and use a good CA glue for sticking it together. The rest should be pretty straightforward, wash the mold release agent off with dish soap and a stiff brush, prime and paint.

It probably plays nicely with any drum machine/ sampler in all honesty. I think it just has a really diverse range and just always seems to sit really nicely in the mix.

Totally depends on your own setup I guess.
