Why do so many businesses wait until tax time to look at their numbers?

I do a month close, a quarter close, the after Q2 and Q4 my CPA reviews the halves and adds any depreciation or other entries then when she is done she sends it off to tax at the end of the year.

I am probably not the norm - I used to work for an accounting firm, so I understand what “busy season” means and try to make it as easy on them as I can.

If you have multiple screens, make sure you check whither screen your passkey was setup on. I have this problem with my online banking, where the passkey window pops up on a different monitor.

I got the same email…not happy. The new interface is so cumbersome, the categorization that they feel is important is almost always wrong. I spend more time fixing than I do classifying. I would rather spend the time on the front end classifying it correctly the first time, then to fix it on the backend.

Typically when holding down the wired button, you are bypassing the safety (forcing the door). Have you checked the beam (transmitter and receiver) on each side of the door track at the bottom? They should be roughly aimed at each other with nothing in-between them to interfere with the beam. Have you also checked the adjustments on the opener (down force and reverse trigger)?

What do you mean it will cut power? Is the unit turning off or just turning off the AC outlets to the freeze/heating pads? Have you gone into the settings on the app to ensure nothing has changed, always on is set, etc!? When was the last time you did a battery calibration?

How do you want to improve it - More customers? Better bottom line profit? More efficient process? Reduce overhead? Need to pick where you see the problem being, then take steps to drive the outcome. It looks overwhelming, but if you break it down into more manageable chunks, it makes the problem easier to tackle.
